The highly anticipated solo project from Mike Bentley dropped this month to rave reviews! Mike is a veteran grasser from eastern Kentucky and has been fronting Cumberland Gap Connection (CGC) for the past ten years. Mike has one of those wonderfully unique voices that is recognizable immediately and can effortlessly sound impeccable doing a wide range of styles from upbeat traditional grass to heart stirring ballads. The project contains a "whose who" of writers, pickers, vocalists, and production folks. Let me name drop a little here... He has had songs recorded by many of the top bands in bluegrass and was a finalist in last year's Merlefest Chris Austin Songwriting Competition.
